Brigden- Jetwerx would like to announce that if any Ladies racers from the Western WMX series would like to race the Eastern WMX, they will be allowed to do so, but they will not be eligible to collect points toward the Eastern series. A racer that competed in the Western Series at any of the four rounds but did not collect a single point, will be allowed to race and compete for the Eastern championship. All ladies racers will be eligible to earn position and purse money.
Jetwerx is working on progressing the sport of Motocross for women racers, in hopes to see the series go coast to coast in the near future; while still making it affordable with a West/East championship. We understand that there are; sisters, wives, girlfriends of some of the Pro riders that would want to race the entire series, and we want them to enjoy all amazing tracks Canada has to offer. Eastern WMX will have Round 1 starting Saturday, July 7th at Sand Del Lee MX, it will be a four round series, ending at Deschambault, QC on Sunday, August 5th.
