Once again the riders and teams of the 2017 Monster Energy Supercross Series were forced to deal with adverse weather conditions as they rolled into Oakland. With rain and wind dominating the weather, practice was once again delayed, and the track was very soft and rutted. By the time the main events took place in the evening, the Oakland track was extremely challenging and the riders struggled to ride error free. For the second week in a row, the Kawasaki duo of Eli Tomac and Justin Hill took home the victory in their respectively classes. Now the riders will say good-bye to the west coast and begin the trek east to Dallas for round 6.
