MXP Amateur Photo Contest Entries
Awhile back now MXP ran a great contest for Amateur photographers across Canada to send in their very best of this past summer’s Monster Energy Motocross Nationals. We got some great shots and it just shows that you do not need to be an artist or a pro to capture the very best of motocross riders. Here is a look at what was sent in from all the entries and from MXP and all its staff, Thank you very much for supporting us. Congrats to the winner of a Bell Helmet, Brent Martin for his beautiful shot of the Champ Colton Facciotti. Enjoy a look from the summer through the eyes of some great amateur photographers. On a cold day in early April, Gauldy and I set out to shoot our 8.02 cover with Tyler Medaglia, with the shoot taking place at a secret sand track Gauld knew of. Tyler met us there with his mechanic and despite the freezing weather, ripped off numerous laps shredding every corner he could. Here is a sample of some of the shots we couldn\'t use for the cover. As an added bonus to our cover shoot I\'m also including some selects from our 8.02 MXP Maiden shoot. We did it right after TM\'s session and he stuck around to check out how we shoot the Maidens.
