July 25, 2018 (Walton, ON) – Amateur Yamaha racers attending the 2018 Walton TransCan Grand National Championship on August 14-17 will have the exclusive convenience of bLU cRU MX Trackside Support, a new initiative to assist up-and-coming Yamaha racers during the grueling four-day amateur portion of the TransCan.
Rider benefits will include technical assistance from Yamaha’s professional Rockstar OTSFF MX race team, no-charge labour on setup and basic repairs, and a broad selection of replacement parts for YZ motorcycles available for purchase.
“The bLU cRU MX Trackside Support program is yet another way for Yamaha to support amateur Yamaha racers and families who are pouring their all into motocross racing,” said Graeme Jones, marketing coordinator at Yamaha Motor Canada. “By offering on-site technical assistance, the goal is to help riders on blue bikes maintain a competitive advantage in the 20-plus classes being contested at the TransCan.”
Amateur Yamaha riders seeking technical support at Walton should visit the Rockstar OTSFF Yamaha trailer on premises. No sign-up or pre-registration is required.
Yamaha will also crown a 2018 Yamaha bLU cRU Factory Ride Award winner at TransCan and display a host of exciting products, including the 2019 YZ series. Ask about the upcoming bLU cRU Rider Appreciation Day!
