Yamaha Motor Canada Presents Behind The Lens From Denver Supercross

When some Social Media photos were released late last week showing the Denver SX track sitting under a thick blanket of snow, many wondered if this race might be cancelled. However, like any spring storm in Denver, the snow usually melts almost as quick as it comes. So even though the temperatures remained unseasonably cool for Saturday night’s race, the race still went on and the racing was superb.

To the delight of his hometown Colorado crowd, Eli Tomac dominated the 450SX class and took his second win in a row. With his win, Tomac moved himself into second overall in the 450SX point standings, 18 points behind Cooper Webb. With just two rounds remaining in the 2019 Monster Energy Supercross Series, Webb looks to have the title firmly under control. As he’s been all season long, Matt Wellumson was in Denver and sent us there great photos.
