A few Photos From Friday at the 2015 Monster Energy Cup

Friday at the Monster Energy Cup is always reserved for press day. This is where a few of the top riders gather at Sam Boyd Stadium to speak with the media, say their hello’s, and then get dressed and ride a few laps on the new track. It’s always an exciting time for everyone in attendance as sometimes we get to see riders on their brand new bikes for the first time. Here are a few Frank Hoppen shots from yesterday in Las Vegas.

Believe it or not there is actually rain in the forecast for today in Las Vegas.

Just like at Anaheim 3 this past year, the 2015 Monster Energy Cup will be using a very cool elevated starting line.

It’s always great to see James Stewart dissect a race track during practice.

As always Ryan Dungey was smooth and focused during Friday’s practice.

Look for Justin Barcia to have a breakout ride tonight while he goes for the million bucks!

We never thought we’d see this combination again. However, in this sport and with this legend, anything is possible. Chad Reed looked very comfortable on his new factory Yamaha.
