FIM JUNIOR MOTOCROSS WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
Moto Park President Iain Hayden is pleased to announce that two of the Parks riders have been selected by the Canadian Motorcycle Association to compete for Canada in the FIM Junior Motocross World Championship in Spain July 19.
Marco Cannella, 14, current MX2, MX3 Junior and Schoolboy 1 Canadian Champion will compete in the 125 two stroke class on his Yamaha YZ125. Cannella commented, “To be able to represent Canada at an International level is a once in a life time experience and one that I will give my all at.” Marco’s family will also be in attendance.
Jake Tricco (pictured) and Marco Cannela will represent Canada at the FIM World Junior Championship this summer in Spain.
Jake Tricco, 12, current 85 c.c. 7-11 Canadian Champion will compete in the 85 c.c. 2 stroke class on his Yamaha YZ85. Tricco commented, “It will be an awesome opportunity to race in Europe against their best and represent Canada. I will work really hard, train hard and make everyone proud of me.” Jakes Mother and brother Luke, who is also a Canadian Champion, will accompany Jake on the trip.
Moto Park Pro Zeb Dennis will assist Hayden and the riders. He will also act as videographer at the event ?ling daily reports throughout the weekend.
Also attending will be former Motocross of Nations Team Manager Carl Bastedo who will co-ordinate the Teams travel plans and needs at the event.
