Some Mike Alessi excitement Courtesy of MXPTV from Hog Heaven MX in SC

A full gate of A class riders lined up for one of the most intense Dash for Cash events we’ve seen to date at the annual Waffle House Pro Shootout at Hog Heaven MX in Godwin, North Carolina. Here’s a general look at how the race went down:

The Dash For Cash race was free with sign up for Sunday’s 250 or Open Pro classes and the pot went up to as high as $2,000 for this 5 lap race. The race was restarted due to downed rider Ryan Zimmer who collided with Cade Clason on the opening lap. Mike Alessi had a controversial start (which you can see video from the gate on what happened) that wasn’t cause for the restart. Bobby Piazza ran our helmet cam for both gate drops.
