Royal Distributing and Marin Bikes Presents Behind the Lens- 2017 Honda Racing GDR Fox Photo Shoot

As everyone knows by now, the biggest news of this off-season has been the signing of 19 year old Dylan Wright to the Honda Canada Racing GDR Fox Team. Coming off his best season to date as a pro rider, Dylan was a hot commodity for race teams looking for a rider capable of winning races in 2017. After months of going back and forth, the two party’s were able to come to an agreement that would see Dylan switch from Yamaha to Honda for 2017 and beyond.

After suffering a small knee injury back in October, Dylan wasn’t able to even ride his new Honda until this week at Gopher Dunes. Under the watchful eye of his new boss Derek Schuster, Dylan threw his leg over his new 2017 CRF250 this past week and turned in some laps. Accompanying him at Gopher Dunes, was his new teammate Colton Facciotti, and fellow Fox athlete, Canadian BMX hero Drew Bezanson. These three riders had a blast on Wednesday getting to know each other while they played around in the sand. Lucky for us, James Lissimore was flown in to help document this historic day at the track. Here are a few of James’s photos from Gopher Dunes.

Considering it was his first time ever riding a Honda, it sure didn’t take long for Dylan to feel comfortable on his new red bike.

After having to wait a little longer than usual to receive his brand new 2017 bikes, Colton Facciotti was very eager to throw his leg over this all new bike from Honda.

It was great to have Canadian BMX legend and Nova Scotia native Drew Bezanson show up at Gopher Dunes to ride some laps with Dylan and Colton.

Even Colton’s two-year old son Keagan joined the fun in his brand new Fox race gear.

Drew Bezanson showed everyone at Gopher Dunes that he’s not just a BMX god, this kid knows how to ride moto also.
