Many industry experts called round 7 in Deschambault last year the turning point in the 2014 title chase. In the MX2 class, eventual champion Kaven Benoit rode two great motos and was able to distance himself from the hard charging Vince Friese. The MX1 class saw Josh Hill win his first and only moto of the 2014 season, and Colton Facciotti’s second moto win gave him the mental advantage he needed to win the MX1 title over Mike Alessi.
