Wiesner Insurance Ontario Mini Enduro Championship

Round #3 – Shelburne

The final round of the Ontario Mini Enduro Championship is set for this weekend. Sunday September 30th at the O’Neill farm just south of the town of Shelburne, an exemplary course has been designed that will be sure to entertain.

Momentum is growing with this revolutionary competition series that is focused entirely on young and new riders. The “multi loop – timed special test” format works extremely well in challenging the fastest riders out there as well and being unintimidating for the newest riders that are just starting out.

At this final round, riders will visit a whole new course that includes a giant “Grand Prix” style motocross track as one of the three special tests. This test features smooth, rolling hills and wide sweeping corners. Once again, exciting and fun for the experienced racer as well as the first time rider. There is a long adventurous loop spread over the 100 acre property.

Conditions are perfect on site with the weather forecast looking to be co operative with temperatures in the mid teens.  Wiesner Insurance will once again provide the post race BBQ including a hot chilli lunch, hot dogs and burgers for all in attendance.

World Enduro Canada will be providing expert electronic timing for immediate results. Transponders will be on hand for any rider that requires one. The awards ceremony is always a highlight with the kids accepting their medals and providing entertainment for the crowd with their acceptance speeches. We hope to see a strong contingent of Yamaha riders out as just like round #2 at the Billings Ranch in Guelph, there will be a lot of Yamabucks to be won for top finishing Yamaha riders. Our sponsor Royal Distributing has also provided gift certificates redeemable at all four of their locations and online ordering.

Being the final round of the Ontario Championship series, champions will be declared in all three classes. Championship plaques will be there are ready to be handed out so it will be an exciting day for our up and coming racers.
