For 50 years, the Daytona Supercross has been going strong and giving us some incredible performances. From the early days of Jimmy Weinert and Bob Hannah, to most recently Ryan Villopoto and Eli Tomac, the racing has always been entertaining. Even though the bikes, riders and track have changed a lot over the years, one thing that has remained unchanged is that only the strongest riders find success at this iconic speedway. This year it was Eli Tomac, who took his fourth Daytona win in the 450SX class, while in the 250SX East class Garrett Marchbanks held on for his first ever Supercross main event win. As he was a few weeks ago for the Tampa SX, Mike Vizer was in Daytona and sent us these incredible photos for this week’s Yamaha Motor Canada Behind the Lens.
