When the world’s best riders gathered at Red Bud this past weekend for the 2018 Monster Energy MXoN, all eyes were on the home team. With Team USA riding a multi-year winless streak at this event, everyone was anxious to see if racing on home turf would finally change the outcome. With the home team engaged in their battle for world motocross supremacy, Team Canada also showed up at Red Bud as ready as they have ever been to compete for a Top 10 finish. With a team made up of experienced riders Colton Facciotti and Tyler Medaglia, and rookie Jess Pettis, all three had come off a great 2018 outdoor series and were riding better than they ever have. With muddy conditions all weekend long, Team Canada battled hard through just about every bit of adversity imaginable to finish in 11th place. Although it wasn’t Team Canada’s best overall finish at this event, this year marked one of the most courageous results on the world stage. As he’s been all season, James Lissimore was at Red Bud and he sent these incredible photos.
