As we watched the 2018 Rockstar Energy Triple Crown Series kick-off this spring, fans and riders were treated to some exciting racing from Abbotsford to Barrie. In both the 250 class, as well as the 450 class, the series top riders battled hard during this new Canadian indoor series. In the 250 class, Shawn Maffenbeier was the dominant rider as he captured his first ever Rockstar Energy Triple Crown AXTour Championship. In the 450 class, Cole Thompson fended off the advances of series rival Colton Facciotti to win the title and take his first step towards the season ending prize of $100,000. All series long James Lissimore was on hand to capture each and every moment of the action. Here are a few of his best from each round of the 2018 Rockstar Energy Triple Crown AXTour Series.
