Wow, what a weekend it was inside the Roger’s Centre at round 9 of the 2017 Monster Energy Supercross Series. The racing was incredible, the crowd was massive, and the fans were treated to some of the best rides we’ve seen all year. Whether it was Ryan Dungey’s come from behind to second, Chad Reed’s hard fought fourth place, or Cole Thompson’s 12th place finish in the 250SX East main event, it was definitely an unforgettable night. When it was all said and done, Eli Tomac and Zach Osborne took home the wins in their respective classes. With this big race being on Canadian soil, James Lissimore made the trek from BC to capture everything that went down in Toronto. Here are twelve of Lissimore’s best from Saturday night.

Sadly one of our favourite riders Cade Clason came up just short of making the main event in Toronto.

Cole Thompson was very happy to be back racing in front of his hometown fans. After a hard fought 250SX main event, Cole ended up finishing in 12th overall.

Few mechanics love being at the races as much as Josh Cox does. In Toronto, JC was hired to work for Kyle Chisholm and together they put team 11 into the main event.

Thankfully the sun was out in Toronto because the temperatures were cold, with a capital C.

After rounding turn one in 16th place, Ryan Dungey was forced to come from behind on the difficult Toronto track. Here he passes Broc Tickle for second in the closing stages of the main event.

It was great to see Davi Millsaps back on Canadian soil for the first time since winning the 2016 MX1 title in Barrie last summer.
