Evolved Nutrition Presents Motofit Monday

Evolved Nutrition and MXP Magazine are excited to be bring you Motofit Mondays where we will be sharing exercise videos, demos, and the latest in strength and conditioning for Motocross athletes. Each Monday we will feature a specific workout as well as a video so you can follow along without any issues. So grab you workout gear and kick the week off properly. Good luck and let’s get started.
Before you workout out or ride we should be warming up, in future articles we will discuss warming up for races, and practice and how those warm-ups are different. Dynamic warm-up are the best way to warm-up and get the body ready to train hard. The idea is to start with smaller controlled movements, and warm up each joint through movement, not static stretching. Here is a video of one of the dynamic warm-ups we have all our athletes do:
Knees to chest x 10e
Sweeps x 10e
High Kicks x 10e
Open Close gate x 10e
Lunge with Psoas reach x 5e
Groaner with Twist x 5e
Pigeon x5e 90-90 x 6e
Four point hamstring x 4
Boxer bounces x 10
Fly swatters x 10e
Lateral Lunge x 6e
