Jeremy Medaglia takes a break from racing……
Stittsville, Ontario ( January 17th 2013) RC car racing that is, while he prepares to compete for MX101/ Yamaha in the MX1 class in the 2013 Monster Energy Nationals.
After capturing 2nd place in last season’s MX2 Pro Nationals, it was time to move up to the premier class and Jeremy has come home so to speak to one of his first pro sponsors MX101. MX101 and Shawn Robinson have worked closely for years, and Jeremy will join Shawn Robinson on the MX101/Yamaha team while Robinson Bros Trucking will supply the rig as they cross the country in style in chase of a championship.
“We are excited to be part of such a great program where we are able to show off Yamahas’ YZ450F on both a regional and national level” said Yamaha Canada’s Bryan Hudgin. MX101 and Yamaha have had a partnership since 2001 and have worked together to bring many great programs to life.
“I’m really looking forward to the challenges that MX1 will present. I feel very confident in my training and fitness that will be required on the bigger bikes and longer motos of the premier class. It will be great to be surrounded by a group that truly believes in me and I have that with the MX101 crew!” Jeremy will surround himself with the best in the industry as Red Bull, Shift racing/Fox head, and Oakley will continue to support one of Canada’s fan favourites.
As Jeremy heads south to begin his training for his assault on Canadian MX, there are plans to race the opening rounds of the AMA Pro Nationals in order to be up to race pace when the gate drops in Nanaimo in June.
About MX101 Inc. and MX101 Talent Factory
MX101 has been focusing on educating dirt bike riders for 12 years in partnership with Yamaha Canada. The MX101 Talent Factory Education Program allows kids to get a sound and safe start in dirt bike riding and motocross racing. As these riders develop and understand the skills, attitude and character that MX101 requires for kids to advance in the Talent Factory, they might get a chance to be instructors with MX101, and some will eventually get to race with the MX101 Talent Factory Race Team. Look for opportunities to join the MX101 Talent Factory Education Program and get your riding going in the right direction at MX101store.com in mid-February.
