At each round of the Triple Crown Series, two areas are worth watching. There is obviously the action that takes place on the race track, but a close second is all of the cool things that go on in the paddock. In between races, it’s cool to see a plethora of fans just strolling through the pits taking in all of the sights, sounds, and smells. It was great to see this guy take a break from farming and get back on the track. Lars is a long way from home, but so far he’s loving Canada. A meeting of the minds for the Blu Cru. The views from the Wild Rose MX Park paddock are quite stunning. It’s been a challenging off season for Matt Deroy, but he worked hard to make sure KTM was back at the races. Even outside of Quebec everyone loves Poutine. Sir Paul Kingsley was happy to once again have some company on the starting line. Although it’s a scaled down version for the west rounds, the KTM pit still looked first class. Team Managers always help each other out in Canada. It was great to see Maff and his giant dog back at the races. Ryder McNabb warms up before heading out to battle Preston Kilroy. Phil checks in with JP to see how he beat Dylan in moto one. Jess Pettis looks right at home under the MX101 Yamaha tent. Steve Simms is once again the main in charge of keeping Phil’s bike in perfect order. Brooms will be a must on the starting line and three of the eight rounds this summer. Miss Canada Kourtney Lloyd was in Calgary selling merch and 50/50 tickets to raise money for the MXON. Dylan Wright’s bike is all ready for tech inspection. The GDR Honda will soon need a bigger tool box if their riders keep winning titles. Wheels, wheels, and mote wheels. Brett Lee’s world was spinning at the opening round. The Team Green bikes were popping under the WLTN Kawasaki Team tent. With a warning like this, there has to be some special stuff behind this door. With winning the 450 class overall Dylan gave his mechanic Cory his first ever Triple Crown Series victory!
