HAIDEN DEEGAN TO HEAD DOWN UNDER FOR THE WORLD SUPERCROSS CHAMPIONSHIP AUSTRALIAN GP

Gold Coast, Australia, 17th October 2025: The FIM World Supercross Championship is delighted to welcome American motocross superstar Haiden ‘Danger Boy’ Deegan to the Gold Coast to make his Australian racing debut at the Australian GP, taking place at Cbus Super Stadium on 29th November.
Deegan, who will make his international debut at the Buenos Aires City GP – the opening round of the 2025 World Supercross Championship, will race as a Wildcard entry for Round 3 and forms part of the strongest-ever rider line up to take to a Supercross track in Australia.
At just 19, Deegan has become one of the most talked-about riders in the sport. With multiple U.S. race wins and five championship titles, he is known for his explosive speed, fearless race craft, and magnetic personality that’s captured fans around the world. Deegan brings a fresh energy and fearless attitude wherever he lines up – and now he’s bringing that same fire to Australia for the very first time.
Haiden Deegan said:“I can’t wait to take my racing international with World Supercross. It’s crazy to think my first races outside the U.S. are coming up in Argentina and then Australia – two awesome spots with passionate fans. I’m ready to race hard and give everyone a great show.”
In 2024, Deegan secured the AMA Supercross 250SX East Championship, becoming one of the youngest riders in history to do so. He followed that with a strong campaign in the AMA Pro Motocross Championship, finishing on the podium multiple times and cementing his reputation as one of the most consistent and exciting performers in the 250 class.
Brian Deegan said: “This is a big moment for Haiden. We’ve always wanted to take what we do to a global level, and World Supercross gives us that platform to do that.”
Deegan’s arrival supercharges what is already the strongest World Supercross lineup in history. In SX1, the championship will see Jason Anderson, Ken Roczen, Eli Tomac, Cooper Webb, and Justin Cooper feature, while the SX2 class is primed for a major showdown as Max Anstie returns to try and wrestle the crown from reigning champion Shane McElrath.
Tom Burwell, CEO of the World Supercross Championship, said: “Haiden racing another round of the championship is proof that we are the stage the world’s best riders want to be on. Fans in the Gold Coast will witness history when Haiden lines up as part of our strongest ever rider roster.”
