Kawasaki Presents 2025 Team Green Winner Leo Hickey with $10,500 Prize

2025 Team Green Grand Prize winner, Leo Hickey presented with massive contingency prize.

White City, Saskatchewan: 2025 Kawasaki Team Green Grand Prize winner, 15-year-old Leo Hickey was presented with a $10,500 contingency prize at the premises of his long-time sponsor and local Kawasaki dealer, Reed Leisure this week.

The prize, $10,000 of Kawasaki credit was awarded to Leo after he earned the most points in the Kawasaki Team Green competition for amateur racers across Canada. The additional $500 was also awarded after Leo finished second in the Open Junior class of the Saskatchewan Motocross Association (SMA) 2025 championship season. 

Kawasaki is proud to support amateur and professional athletes in a variety of motocross disciplines across Canada, including motocross, road racing, and flat track. In 2025 the competition was open to all amateur off-road racers, who earned points toward the Grand Prize by competing in provincial and national races.

The Team Green Grand Prize is a centerpiece in Kawasaki’s historic contingency program, which Kawasaki offered a massive $545,000 in prizes to off-road racers across Canada. 

Details of the 2026 Team Green national program and competition will be announced in February.
