For whatever reason, each time the Monster Energy Supercross Series goes to Dallas, we end up witnessing some unforgettable racing. This past weekend was no different as the best SX racers on the planet once again put on a great show in Big D. In the 250SX East class, Austin Forkner rode hard and aggressive to take his second win of the season. Behind him, Justin Cooper continued his steady riding to take second in the main event in front of young Chase Sexton.
In the 450SX class, it was history in the making as Cooper Webb came from behind to pass Ken Roczen in the final corner to win his fourth race of 2019. With the two riders crossing the finish line almost side by side, it ended up being the closest finish ever in the sport of SX. With his popular win, Webb now takes the points lead in the 450SX class, just two small points in front of Roczen. With the 2019 Monster Energy Supercross Series now reaching its mid-way point, we’ll most certainly find out who the real championship contenders are. Before the series moves to Detroit this weekend for Round 8, we look back at Dallas with an incredible selection of photos by James Lissimore.
