The 2nd Annual MMRS National gate dropped this past weekend with practice all day Friday, and racing taking place Saturday and Sunday. It was a fun filled weekend with great weather and good friends all around. A huge purse made for some very intense racing as each class was fighting for the top prize of a fat wad of cash. Thanks to Randy Wiebe for the pictures. Enjoy this photo report from MMRS.
Pretty self explanatory I think. Don’t you?
The vet boys Thur and Donk discuss lines, romantic novels, and who will punch who in the pits. But what there really worried about is how bad Heidi Cooke is going to kick there butt. LOL
Beavis airs out the crowd pleaser on his way to spanking his nemesis in the first Vet moto. This moto caused a riff in the “Thur Force” and may have one of the biggest super fans selling his bike in defeat. Hhahahaahahahah
Kinger airing it out before he takes a header into some rocks. One tough bugger though.
Vet Master class is always good times.
Liam O’Farrell put away the TM’s and rode a different ride this weekend. He soldiered to a 2nd in the open pro, and 2nd in youth on a borrowed Machine Racing Yamaha.
Um…… Ya. Motocross is not for the weak.
MMRS has a two of these babes.
Junior class off the line. Nick Jones #55 was the big winner all weekend.
Jeremy Medaglia cleaned up winning all six motos, and taking 3-4 Pro holeshot’s as well. It was a near picture perfect weekend for the long haired stallion.
Michael Da Silva smashes a berm on his way to winning the Intermediate cash.
I don’t think that’s the hot line Tiz. LOL
The Madoc track is fast, fun and super long.
Hayden Halstead ripped up the soil on his 250 two stroke Yamaha. He took home some good cash as well.
Randy Wiebe loved the roost. Luckily enough he was on four phone books to get the perfect level for this shot. Hahahaha
BFG having a nap.
Ladies Pro was cool to watch. Heidi Cooke showed up and looked to be the fastest as she took moto 1 easy, but a moto 2 crash gave the win to Renee Riendeau. They spilt the $1000 a moto win cash prize. Kate McKerrol and Kirsten MacDonald took home a big pocket full as well.
The Open Pro podium.
hahaha Good work Oompa!!
Donk in perfect form. Unlike his half a lap buddy Tyler Spikman. Guess he should stick to the cameras. Hahhaah
Vet B podium.
Heidi Cooke skies it out on her way to winning around 1500 bucks.
Kate McKerrol and Kirsten MacDonald battled hard
A mini twister came out of nowhere at one point and blew the hair right off Big Waves head. Oops wait he’s bald already, but we did have a twister!! LOL
