Canada’s amateur motocross riders will have plenty to race for in 2027, with more than $100,000 in available contingency and more than $50,000 in prizing and awards across three major amateur national events.

The 2027 calendar features:

  • Western Canadian Amateur Nationals — May 20–23, 2027 — Revelstoke, British Columbia
  • Eastern Canadian Amateur Nationals — July 28–31, 2027 — Deschambault, Quebec
  • TransCan Canadian Grand National Championships — August 10–14, 2027 — Walton, Ontario

Alongside championship honours, riders will compete for contingency rewards and prizes recognizing outstanding performances, including the Yamaha Factory Ride Award.

The Western and Eastern Amateur Nationals will also provide a pathway to international competition. Top eligible Yamaha riders from both events will advance to Walton to compete for coveted positions on Canada’s Yamaha bLU cRU SuperFinale team, with the opportunity to represent Canada in Assen, Netherlands, alongside the professionals at the 2027 Motocross of Nations.

From Revelstoke to Deschambault to Walton, these events will celebrate Canadian amateur talent while offering meaningful rewards and opportunities to take the next step in the sport.

Contingency schedules, prize details, Yamaha qualification criteria and registration information will be announced by the respective organizers and participating manufacturers in the coming weeks.
