SMX Next World All-Stars to Showcase the Sport’s Most Elite Prospects at Monster Energy SMX World Championship Playoffs
| High-Profile Championship Up for Grabs with Pair of Special Postseason Races Inside Historic Crew Stadium and Dignity Health Sports Park |
| COLUMBUS, Ohio (September 10, 2026) – The SMX League has finalized the field of elite prospects that will compete for a high-profile world championship during the 2026 SMX Next World All-Stars, which will take place during the first two Playoff rounds of the Monster Energy SMX World Championship. These races serve as the culmination of a compelling season of SMX Next competition, with a pair of postseason showcases featuring the year’s most successful and promising prospects. The first All-Stars race is scheduled for this Saturday, September 12, from Historic Crew Stadium in Columbus, Ohio, and will conclude with a championship-deciding battle next Saturday, September 19, from Dignity Health Sports Park in Los Angeles. |

| The lineup of athletes for SMX Next World All-Stars consists of the top five eligible racers from the series of premier amateur events held this season – the 250 Pro Sport & 250 B classes at the Monster Energy AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship from Loretta Lynn’s, the SMX Next – Supercross AMA National Championship in Philadelphia, and the SMX Next – Motocross Scouting Moto Combines from RedBud MX and Ironman Raceway. Any remaining spots will be fulfilled via invites based on major results from around the world to complete a 25-rider field. “The SMX Next World All-Stars was established to provide a stage for the top prospects in the sport to compete in the postseason alongside their professional counterparts. Each athlete has earned his spot in the All-Stars lineup and will now have the opportunity to race for a World Championship on SMX’s biggest stage,” said Mike Muye, Sr. Director of Supercross, Feld Motor Sports. “These two events will allow the next generation of star talent to step into the spotlight and showcase the bright future that awaits for the sport. In the end, one rider will stand atop the podium with the coveted distinction of being the best prospect on the planet.” The format for the pair of World All-Stars races is cumulative, with single points up for grabs in Columbus and double points on the line in Los Angeles. That all but guarantees a wide-open battle for the title, with the likelihood of a winner-take-all showdown inside Dignity Health Sports Park. Whoever emerges with the highest point total after the two Eight Minute + 1 Lap Main Events will be crowned SMX Next World All-Stars Champion and awarded a coveted No. 1 plate. |

| Headlining the All-Stars field is 2026 Nicky Hayden AMA Motocross Horizon Award recipient Landon Gibson [Peachtree City, Georgia]. The Rockstar Energy Husqvarna rider possesses more SMX Next experience than any of his counterparts, with a total of 16 starts under his belt, and while he’s still in search of that elusive victory, his five runner-up finishes make him one of the favorites to finally break through. He’ll be flanked by Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing’s Carson Wood [Zephyrhills, Florida], who comes into the postseason with back-to-back victories at the summer Scouting Moto Combines and also earned a runner-up finish in the first All-Stars race last season. Additional riders to watch include Monster Energy Kawasaki Team Green’s Kade Johnson [Hideaway, Texas], last year’s All-Stars runner-up and the 2026 SMX Next – Supercross AMA National Championship runner-up who has 14 starts to his credit, as well as his Team Green teammate Vincent Wey [Murrieta, California], the second-generation racer who broke through for his first SMX Next – Supercross triumph earlier this season in Birmingham. Also sure to be in the mix is ClubMX Yamaha’s Ryder Malinoski [Wyoming, Minnesota], a perennial contender with 12 SMX Next starts who captured an All-Stars victory in St. Louis last season. |

| Each of the aforementioned athletes will also bring some professional experience into the postseason, having made their debuts in the Pro Motocross Championship at various points throughout the summer. The SMX Next World All-Stars will feature athletes from four different countries, with 22 Americans joined by Brazil’s Gabriel Andrigo, Chile’s Benjamin Moya, and Canada’s Dylan Rempel. |
