Why have you stopped offering Speed Channel?
We recognize supporters of this channel are disappointed and hope youll understand these decisions are not taken lightly. We review our offerings and make changes to our packages from time to time, in order to provide our customers with the best possible entertainment experience. Last year, the operator of the channel decided to stop making Speed Channel available to the majority of TV customers in the United States. Like other operators, we sometimes change the channel line-up. Were sorry for any inconvenience. We remain committed to offering good value and a wide variety of programming – your package contains dozens of channels, and we continue to add new ones.
Will my monthly fee change as a result of these changes?
We are committed to launching new channels and offering added value to our line up and packages.
For instance, we recently added TSN HD, TSN2 HD and A & E HD for HD customers who subscribe to the SD equivalent at no additional charge. For the removal of Speed Channel, your bill will not be adjusted.
Can I get speed channel somewhere else?
While weve decided that we can no longer carry Speed channel, we are committed to meeting our customers needs by offering more flexible packaging. If the channel provider will come to an agreement that allows us to offer the channel to a more specialized audience at a reasonable rate, wed be happy to make it available.
Why do other providers continue to provide the channel?
Each television service provider makes its own determinations as to what channels to offer. To provide customers with the best possible entertainment experience, we review our offerings and makes changes to our packages from time to time.
