Chilliwack Heritage Park or the barn that Kyle Beaton built.Future West Productions has been promoting Arenacross for many years and they do an excellent job.Thanks to Dirt Wurx the riders of the Kawasaki Canadian Arenacross Series will always have a great track to race on.For a little added entertainment Future West has brought in a band for each round.The 2013/14 Series got a huge boost when Tyler Medaglia announced a few weeks ago that he would be riding a KTM for Maple Ridge Motorsports.Jeremy Medaglia sure looked good on his brand new Cycle North Honda.Here Kyle Beaton is explaining to the Medaglia Brothers how you win in Chilliwack. They obviously listened.The Medaglia’s were also pretty close on the track. Both Jeremy and Tyler each took one main event win on the weekend.The Champs bike was ready to go at round one.Brock Hoyer was fast all weekend and took one main event win.USA rider Chris Howell was the surprise of the weekend as he was fast on his Suzuki. This series always attracts a few fast riders from south of the border.The man who never slows down. Ryan Lockhart had a great opening weekend finishing top five in both Pro Open main events and winning the Dash for Cash on Saturday night.Cycle North Honda rider Ross Johnson rode well all weekend and found himself on the podium. Look for him to get better as the series goes on.Other than a crash with Brock Hoyer, Spencer Knowles had a pretty decent opening round. This kid loves to ride indoors and he will be tough to beat as the series goes on.Tyler Medaglia gets ready to take to the track on his Maple Ridge Motorsports KTM 250 two stroke.There were also BMX demos all weekend to entertain everyone.The moment after Brock Hoyer and Spencer Knowles came together and went down. Ryan Lockhart doesn’t seem to mind at all.Brent Worrall handled the microphone duties all weekend and did an excellent job.With the great action we witnessed during the opening weekend of the Kawasaki Canadian Arenacross Championship, we can’t wait for the riders to get back at it in two weeks.
