Dick Lechien, the founder of Maxima Racing Oils and father of AMA Motocross Champion and AMA Hall of Famer Ronnie Lechien, passed away peacefully in his sleep on March 10, 2022. He was 85 years old. Lechien is survived by his wife Pat, son Ronnie and daughter Lorrie. Our condolences go out to the Lechien family.

Coming off his best race of the 250SX East Series Tanner Ward is looking to take the next step and qualify for the main event tomorrow in Indianapolis. This will be Tanner’s SX final round before he begins his 450 testing at GPF.
After being off of the bike for six weeks Jess Pettis rode his new FE KTM450 for the first time on Tuesday and sent us this message, “I’m so stoked to be back riding again. I felt good and I cannot wait to keep going.”

After taking a hard crash last weekend in Detroit and then riding around with one arm for three laps. Defending 450SX Champion Cooper Webb announced via Social Media this week that he will be in Indy tomorrow. “I get paid to race so I’ll see you in Indy.” This guy is such a racer!
