After riding well through four rounds of Monster Energy Supercross, Cole Thompson had his luck run out on Saturday evening in Glendale after having a rider land on him during the late stages of the second main event. At the time of the incident, Cole was running a strong 11th place in the 250SX West class and was no doubt on his way to another top ten finish. Unfortunately, Cole was not able to finish the race and was also forced to retire for the evening. Yesterday, Cole had an MRI done in California and they determined that he had suffered a torn Labrum in his left shoulder. As he reported last night on his Social Media Cole is now out of the SX Series and will return home to have his shoulder further evaluated. We wish Cole and his wife Chloe all the best and, we’d also like to thank them for giving us so much to cheer for during the opening four rounds of Supercross. Get well soon Cole!
