So far Jake Weimer has been riding well in 2015. In Phoenix he finished 9th overall and looked great doing so in his new Seven Gear.

After two rounds Andrew Short has been the surprise of the 450 class. On Saturday night he rode well to finish a solid 7th in the main event.

Cole Seely is one of those riders that needs to find a way to get a better start in the main event so he can race with the leaders and gain some confidence.

Saturday night marked two weeks in a row that rookie Yamaha Aaron Plessinger finished in the top five in the Lites class.

Riding with a broken thumb from a crash at round one, Zach Osborne once again had a strong ride in Phoenix to finish 7th overall.

After two less than stellar rounds Davi Millsaps and his Kawasaki Team are no doubt searching for a few answers.

With Davi’s smooth style and hard working attitude, it’s only a matter of time before he finds the success he’s looking for in 2015.

After his big win last weekend in Anaheim, Jessy Nelson backed it up with a great ride in Phoenix to finish in third.

Few people thought that two rounds into the 2015 Monster Energy SX Series that Justin Hill still wouldn’t have a win in the Lites class. In Phoenix Hill finished in 6th.

Josh Hansen is still trying to fight off the rust from not racing much in recent years. Like last weekend in Anaheim, Hansen struggled with the race pace in Phoenix and ended up finishing 13th.

Cycle North Honda rider Adam Enticknap once again showed great speed in Phoenix but came up just short of making the main event.

On a rutted and slippery track Ryan Dungey showed true patience in the main event to finish third overall.

Without a doubt Chad Reed is the fan favourite of 2015.

After two rounds Chad Reed is still searching for the magic he dazzled all of us with early last season.

Even though he was just a little off the pace in Phoenix, Jason Anderson still had a good ride to finish in 6th in the 450 main event.

Without his teammate James Stewart there to guide him and take some pressure off, Blake Baggett seems to be struggling in his first season on the 450.

Trey Canard had an off night in Phoenix and finished a distant 8th in the main event.

Congratulations to Eli Tomac on his very first 450 SX win!

Big smiles were a common sight in Eli Tomac’s camp after Phoenix.

During the main event Eli Tomac’s father was as focused as his son was on the track.

Once Ken Roczen realized that he couldn’t match Eli Tomac’s speed in Phoenix he did what all great riders do, he backed it down and lived to fight another day.

Two rounds are now history in the 2015 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Series.

Miss Supercross and her fellow Monster Energy girls are all now ready for round three in Anaheim.
