Yamaha Motor Canada Presents Photo Album From Indianapolis SX

The one thing that you can always count on with regards to the Indianapolis SX is that it’s always exciting. Whether it’s the city, the stadium, the fans, or the soft Indiana dirt, this race is always filled with action. In the 250SX East class, it was once again Jett Lawrence who overcame an early race battle with Cameron McAdoo to win the main event. In the 450SX class, Eli Tomac came from behind to take his fourth win in a row, and in the process, he extended his points lead to a massive 51 points. Now the series moves west to Seattle where the 250SX West Series will resume with points leader Christian Craig as the favourite. Here are some outstanding Indy SX photos by Matt Wellumson.

Oh Barcia!

Anderson was again fast in Indy but had some bad luck!

Hand guards and one-handers. It was a typical night for JB51.

We’re sure Anderson wants to wipe that grin off Barcia’s face.

Roger DeCoster sits in the Manager’s tower and keeps an eye on his riders.

The large crowd got treated to some good race action in Indy!

Cameron McAdoo put up a good fight but was unable to hold off the Jett.

Lawrence’s last to first ride in his heat race was incredible.

Yes, Indy had a rather tricky sand section.

Cameron McAdoo most certainly has a win coming to him soon.

Pierce Brown gets the word from his mechanic. Be calm and plan!

Barcia’s instruction’s were simple!

Musquin had a great race in his final Indy SX.

This photo pretty much sums up Phil’s day and night in the circle city.

After his crash with Cooper Webb last weekend, Sexton’s had a quiet night in Indy.

In Supercross starts are almost everything.

The 450SX class riders fight for space and position during the start of their main event.

Tomac has proven in recent weeks that he can ride and win in any condition.

As usual the Indy SX was full of deep ruts.

Although Tanner Ward came up just short of making his first ever 250SX East main event, he rode well and should be proud of his results.

Well done Tanner!

Throughout the 250SX East Series Tanner has looked great on his new Kawasaki.

Cooper Webb’s chances of winning his third SX title are all but gone.

Deano had a good night in Indy and he seems to be getting better each week.

Your 250SX East podium.

Your 450SX podium from Indy.
