TORONTO, April 25, 2014 – This summer, the Rockstar Energy Drink Motocross Nationals, Canada’s largest action-sports series, is bringing music to the moto with MOTOFEST. After a day of world class MX1 and MX2 racing, the track will turn concert with fans and riders rocking out to top Canadian bands.

The Rockstar Energy Drink MOTOFEST will hit four cities on the 2014 Motocross Nationals tour:

* Saturday, May 31 – The Wastelands, Nanaimo, British Columbia

* Saturday, June 21 – Moto Valley Raceway, Regina, Saskatchewan

* Saturday, July 12 – Gopher Dunes, Courtland, Ontario

* Sunday, August 3 – Riverglade MX Park, Moncton, New Brunswick

Kicking off in Nanaimo on May 31, indie-rock band Tokyo Police Club, Kelowna’s Yukon Blonde and Vancouver grunge-rock band We Hunt Buffalo are set to take stage at the Wastelands Motocross Park. Headliner Tokyo Police Club just released their fourth studio album and will be sure to get people dancing with their latest single “Hot Tonight.”

Added to the evening’s entertainment is the #1 Freestyle Motocross Show in Canada, the Rockstar Energy Milot Land Tour featuring Ben Milot, Steel Cutter, Reagan Sieg and Jeff Fehr. Insane aerial manoeuvers and back flips will keep you pumped throughout the night.
