Even though this was the first official day of racing at the 2018 Walton TransCan, we’re going to call this Day 2. The day started off with every rider getting their two practice sessions, and then the gate dropped at 2pm for the opening moto. As it’s been at every TransCan the first and last moto is always the 250 Intermediate class. This year it was Yamaha rider Jake Tricco who grabbed the early lead and never looked back. After the opening moto, fans got to watch riders like Kyle Keast, Jeremy Mckie and Sebastien Racine also win their first motos of the week. With Day 2 now in the books, it’s time to say good night so we can do it all over again tomorrow. Here are a few photos from Tuesday at the 2018 Walton TransCan.

When you’re not racing at the TransCan, sometimes you just sit around and hang out with your buddies.

The new TransCan triple is really big but fairly safe. There was only one big crash on this jump today.
