Yamaha Motor Canada Presents Behind The Lens From Quebec City

When the riders of the 2019 Rockstar Energy Triple Crown SXTour Series arrived at the modern Videotron Centre in Quebec City, they were greeted by a soft and technical track. In the 450 class, Cole Thompson had one goal in mind and that was to win the main event, and in the process try to make up points on Triple Crown points leader Phil Nicoletti. After a slow start in the main event, Thompson reeled in Phil and made an aggressive pass for the eventual win. Nicoletti held on for second and will now enter the final round in Hamilton with a 27 point lead. The 250 class win could’ve gone to any number of riders in Quebec City as there were a number of them going fast. In the end, the oldest rider in the 250 class, Tyler Medaglia outsmarted everyone and took his second indoor win of 2019. It was definitely an exciting night of racing, and now the SXTour Series moves on to Hamilton in two weeks time. Here are some great James Lissimore photos for this week’s Yamaha Motor Canada Behind the Lens.
