Solid Finish At The Final SX Tour Weekend For Rockstar OTSFF Yamaha

The final two rounds of Supercross were held once again at Gopher Dunes. Everyone was welcomed with a redesigned and awesome looking track.

Shawn Maffenbeier qualified 5^th on Friday and Saturday night. Logan Leitzel qualified 6^th on Friday and 7^th on Saturday.

Main events on Friday were kicked off with two holeshots from Maffenbeier. He would finish 5-4 in the main events for a 4^th overall. Leitzel went 6-6 for 6^th overall for the night.

Heading in to the second and final round both riders were looking forward to the slightly revised track which included a smaller set of whoops. Night two was almost a mirror of Friday. Maffenbeier finished 5-4 and Leitzel finished 6-6.

We would like to take a minute to thank everyone that worked hard to make the season happen this year. COVID restrictions did not make things easy but everyone pushed on and figured out ways to go racing and stay safe. We overcame many obstacles that many other sports organizations across the country could not.

Thank you to all the MRC, Jetwerx, Triple Crown, AMO and track staff; to all the race team members and races that came each week; to the families that supported the sport. Without all of your eager support to go racing, none of this would have happened and we should all be proud that the motocross industry was able to pull off all of the events with the support of the local Public Health officials.
