What a night it was in the Show-Me State as the third and final Triple Crown event of the 2022 Monster Energy Supercross Series took place. With three exciting main events in both the 250SX East and 450SX classes, fans had multiple opportunities to watch their favourite riders battle each other. In the 250SX East class, RJ Hampshire finally took his first-ever pro win as he rode consistently all night long. Points leader Jett Lawrence also rode strong but a crash in the third and final main event knocked him out of contention for the overall win. In the 450SX class, the lone KTM factory rider Marvin Musquin continued his solid riding of late and took the overall win. There has been talk that Musquin might be retiring at the end of the SX Series but if he keeps riding like he currently is then he’ll most likely return in 2023. It was an entertaining night of racing in St Louis and now the riders move south to Atlanta for Round 14. Photos by Matt Wellumson
