
This week the Whispering Pines MX Park in Kamloops is hosting not only the 2022 WCAN but also the opening round of the Triple Crown Series. The racing began yesterday and the action will continue into Sunday. Welcome back to normal.

Some rare June wet weather is unfortunately forecasted for the Kamloops area this weekend. Will the riders have to face a mudder at Round 1? We’ll have to wait and see.

In the USA, Round 2 of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championships continues its 50th Anniversary tour this weekend at the famous Hangtown track in Northern California. Unlike last weekend, tomorrow is going to be a hot one at Hangtown.

This weekend the AMO Racing will head to the most famous track in Canada for Round 4 of their 2022 OPC Series. Walton Raceway will be holding its first big event of the 2022 race season. Good luck to everyone!

With the opening round of the 2022 Triple Crown Series kicking off this weekend the bike of defending 450 champion Dylan Wright is ready to go. Our back-to-back 450 champ will no doubt want to come out swinging on Sunday.

Having made the switch to the KTM Canada Factory Team for 2022, last year’s 250 champion Jacob Piccolo’s new bike is looking ready to race this weekend!

After making the long drive west to Kamloops multi-time Canadian WMX champion Eve Brodeur is ready to defend her title aboard her new GASGAS.

Even Suzuki is getting into the Works Edition bikes as for 2023 consumers will be able to purchase a very cool-looking RM Army 450. No word yet on whether these bikes will be available in Canada but we will find out soon.

This past week two more race teams were added to the FIM World SX Championships. The CDR Team as well as the Rick Ware Racing Team have announced that they will be fielding a team in this start-up series.

Thanks to Michael Lindsey over at VitalMX we get a look at the extremely cool Showa BFRC Shock that Chase Sexton used last weekend at Fox Raceway to win the season opener. Before this season these cool shocks have only been used in Europe.
