Monday April 22, 2013. St-Bruno, QC – In only his first week back on KTM, “I broke-in my bike at Gopher Dunes earlier in the week, and then spent Saturday helping with a school and practiced a bit at Cochrane’s for the MMRS opening weekend,” says O’Farrell.riding a brand new 2013 250 SX, Liam O’Farrell would prove two-strokes are alive and well, claiming wins in the Pro Am and Under 30 classes. The friendly South African says he felt a bit rusty early on, but it was quite impressive watching O’Farrell dicing it up on his 250 two-stroke against top 450 racers.

Racing his 250 SX in the Pro Am and Under 30 classes, O’Farrell would finish 3-1 in Under 30 for first overall after mixing it up with Kyle Keast and Richard Grey, both on four-strokes.

In his Pro motos, O’Farrell would again battle similar colleagues from Under 30, eventually taking second overall with 1-2 moto scores. Not bad for his first race of the year, and first race back on KTM!

“It’s good to get the first one out of the way, and I will get stronger every race,” adds O’Farrell. “My next race is at MotoPark on Sunday, April 28th. The plan this year is to focus on winning races in Ontario and challenging for top spots in MX1 at the Eastern Nationals. Thanks again to Orange Motorsports, KTM, my wife Pamela and everyone for their continued support!”
