Atlantic Motocross Evolves: Introducing the Atlantic Motocross Racing Association

[Atlantic Canada] – Today marks a new era for motocross in Atlantic Canada. After years of dedication to the sport, Atlantic Motocross will oAicially transition to the Atlantic Motocross Racing Association (AMRA)—a fresh start that promises growth, innovation, and a stronger future for motocross across the Atlantic
provinces.

This transition reflects our commitment to providing the best possible experience for riders, families, and
fans. The new Board of Directors is spearheaded by a dedicated group of track operators and motocross
leaders. Jeremy Wallace of Mt. Thom MX, Blaine Prest of Mill Hill MX, Kelly Spenser of Dream Acres MX, Tyler Nickerson of Clyde River MX, and Larry Northrup of Riverglade MX are excited to bring a renewed vision to the sport, ensuring better organization, enhanced competition, and a more rider-focused approach to motocross in the region. These individuals have come together with a shared vision to elevate the motocross experience for riders, fans, and industry partners alike.

“This change is about progress,” says newly elected President Larry Northrup “We are committed to fostering a competitive and welcoming environment that benefits everyone involved in motocross—whether you’re a racer, a track owner, or a passionate fan. The AMRA will set the stage for an exciting future in the sport.“ The launch of the Atlantic Motocross Racing Association represents a major leap forward for our sport,” said Jeremy Wallace, Director and Promoter at Mount Thom MX Park. “By bringing together the region’s top motocross minds, we are creating a more streamlined, rider-focused, and progressive organization that will drive the future of racing in Atlantic Canada.”

The AMRA will continue to build on the foundation laid by Atlantic Motocross while introducing improved
event structures and enhanced communication with the motocross community. More details will be released in the coming weeks.

We understand that change can bring questions, and we encourage the motocross community to reach out, stay informed, and be part of shaping the future of our sport. Together, we will make the Atlantic Motocross Racing Association the premier home for motocross in Atlantic Canada.
