The annual Motopark Cup Series kicks off this weekend with Rounds 1 & 2 Saturday and Sunday May 18-19.

Special Awards for each of the Amateur classes are given to 1 for each 3 entries up to 10 places. On Saturday, the top 3 receive a collectors number plate and a special limited edition Motopark Cup T-shirt. The other top finishers in the class receive a T-shirt. On Sunday the same award applies with the exception of the top 3 who receive a pair of Smith Goggles. Payback for the Pro-Am (pro & int.) class this weekend is a guaranteed purse of $4,000 ($1000 per moto) for the weekend paid back by the 4 moto’s to 10th place. The Youth (16-29) as well as +30 and the +40 class receive a 75% payback. The top 3 in the payback classes also receive a collector’s number plate.

Additional prizes this weekend include the CoreMotoSports.ca first moto Holeshot award of $50 to the 250A and GP Mini classes on Saturday and the Open and Schoolboy classes on Sunday. Core will also be handing out valve core tools, mudscrapers, grunge brushes and gift certificates. Everything is also donating Multi-Purpose Cleaner/Degreaser. These prizes will be handed out from a random entry draw by Miss Motopark.

There will be a Vendor area in front of the main building throughout the weekend. The Off Road Café will be open serving Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner with a great new menu featuring pasta, soups, salads, chicken strips as well as a steak or chicken dinner ($15 tax in) Saturday evening. All in addition to Motoparks usual great burger, dog and fry choices and of course, the breakfast of Moto Champions, Moto Muffins. No need to stock the fridge when you come to Motopark.
