Breaking News- 2024 Yamaha bLU cRU Program & Events!

May 30, 2024 (Toronto, ON) – Yamaha Motor Canada is pleased to announce our 2024
schedule of events and awards for Yamaha bLU cRU riders!

SUPER FINALE AT MATTERLY BASIN

New for 2024, Yamaha will be selecting three racers to represent bLU cRU Team Canada at the
YZ bLU cRU SuperFinale in Europe from Friday, October 4 to Sunday, October 6, 2024. Hosted in
conjunction with the Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations at Matterly Basin, the SuperFinale will be the biggest and most-watched event of the season.

The riders will be selected by September 1st, 2024. Judging criteria include, but are not limited
to, on-track performance (not just finishing position), attitude and character. Do you have what
it takes to represent our country?

FACTORY RIDE AWARD

Back by popular demand, the bLU cRU Factory Ride Award program returns for 2024 to give
amateur racers a chance to win the complimentary use of a YZ motorcycle for the following
race season, in addition to a $2,500 Yamaha parts credit.

The 2024 bLU cRU Factory Ride Award will be presented to the Yamaha rider with the most
cumulative points at each of the country’s three biggest amateur motocross events:

  • Western Canadian Amateur National (WCAN) in Lethbridge, AB (June 3-9)
  • Eastern Canadian Amateur National (ECAN) in Deschambault, QC (July 25-27)
  • Walton TransCan Grand National Championship in Walton, ON (August 7-11).
“In the past decade, we have proudly offered the coveted bLU cRU Factory Ride Award to
elite amateur riders across the country,” explains Justin Balkos, Senior Marketing Associate,
Yamaha Motor Canada. “This award is much more than a parts credit and free use of a YZ, it
has grown into an accomplishment that puts our top MX Amateur Racers on the radar of
    factory teams and sponsors.”
In 2023, Crayden Dillon (TransCan), Bobby Gravel (ECAN) and Wyatt Hasil (WCAN) took
home the award and joined the ranks of past winners Dylan Wright and Tanner Ward, who
have grown to be elites in our sport.
    How Do You Win?
The bLU cRU Factory Ride Award will be presented to the amateur Yamaha rider with the most
cumulative points in a maximum of three classes who has registered a Yamaha as their race
    bike in the aforementioned races.

  • Rider must be a resident of Canada.
  • Yamaha unit must be purchased in Canada.
  • A maximum of (2) units can be used at each of the 3 events.
