Fox Racing Canada Presents Behind The Lens From Medicine Hat

Over the years, there has been some great indoor racing action in Medicine Hat, Alberta. However, it’s been almost 30 years since we’ve seen an event like the Triple Crown Series come to “The Hat.” So, with its rich racing history, not to mention that Medicine Hat is the hometown of Ross ‘Rollerball’ Pederson, it was awesome to see racing back inside the Co-Op Place arena. In the end, Mitchell Harrions once again took both main event wins, while Julien Benek rode well to finish second overall on his well-used practice KX450. Quinn Amyotte grabbed third in the 250 class, and young Blake Davies surprised everyone with a solid and well-deserved third in the 450 class. Now, the Triple Crown Series moves to Calgary for its final round on November 4th. Here are some James Lissimore photos from Medicine Hat!

Medicine Hat and AX have a long history together.

The track inside Co-op Place was tight and entertaining.

Julien Benek came into Medicine Hat with something to prove and ended up finishing on the podium!

On the podium Benek was all smiles!

Even the Dad’s were happy that the Triple Crown Series was back in the west.

Even though Blake Davies is the youngest rider in the pro class he rides like he has years of experience.

Little by little Daniel Elmore is getting better at indoor racing and he soon be on the podium.

We love how respectful Mitchell Harrison is towards his competitors.

So far, Harrison is perfect in the Triple Crown Series indoor races.

Elmore gives his thoughts on the track after his LCQ win.

Whether he’s racing or being a Team Manager, Maff is always smiling.

USA rider Ryan Martin was fast all day but suffered a big crash in the 250 main event. Hopefully we see him again in Calgary.

Jacob Piccolo qualified P1 in both classes but ended up getting sick and not finishing the night.

Hopefully JP4 gets his health figured out soon and can get back onto the top step of the podium.

The opening ceremonies show was next level in the Hat!

It’s starting to get cold in Alberta so thankfully the riders were able to pit indoors.

Sebastien Racine showed signs of speed on Saturday night but wasn’t able to put it all together in the main events.

It was great to see young Dylan Rempel made the trek out west to race the final two rounds.

Devyn Smith rode well in Medicine Hat and he deserved some better results. Look for him to be even better in Calgary as you can see his confidence building.

Guac loves AX and with no surprise he was very fast in Medicine Hat.

As always, the start in AX was very important.

Does Harrison ever get a bad start indoors? We don’t think so!

Zach Ufimzeff is slowly improving his indoor skills each week and he’s not far off a great main event finish.

See you in Calgary!!
