Fox Racing Canada Presents Behind The Lens-Western Wrap-Up
For the first time since 2019, the Triple Crown Series was able to travelled west of the Ontario border and enjoy its national events with no fan restrictions. Although the struggle for the teams and the series is real with gas prices currently through the roof, everyone was excited to head out west this month and take in the hospitality of BC, AB, and MB. It was most certainly an exciting opening three rounds of the 2022 Triple Crown Series and here are a collection of James Lissimore photos from behind the scenes in the west.
It was great to be back in Kamloops where the scenery is amazing. The helmet paint job that everyone wants!It was blue as far as the eye could seen under the MX101 tent.Are we seeing double or does Piccolo just have two bikes. When you’re this good you get your own frame. A little encouragement always goes a long way. The KTM crew were in a serious mood at Round 1. Welcome to the 450 class and to Team Green Tanner Ward.The trickest part of these bikes are the carbon gas tanks. Keeping the Drumheller track moist was a tough job. The bikes of the top 3 cool down at the podium.Air filters anyone?Shawn Maffenbeier’s cockpit looks clean and ready for take-off. Although it was hot everyone enjoy their weekend in Manitoba. A few of our top riders run their bars low and back. The old 875 was working hard at Pilot Mound. It’s no wonder Dean Wilson was cut open so bad. The Pilot Mound track was one that made you just want to ride. The Champ’s bike gets some much lubricant before winning both motos at Round 3.Sir Paul Kingsley is looking forward to seeing everyone in the east.
