As the 2019 season comes to an end, the Monster Energy Alpinestars Piller’s Kawasaki race team & Huber Motorsports are already hard at work, solidifying their racing efforts for 2020. To continue their growth, the Huber Motorsports’ MX team will be moving to a 3-rider lineup to compete in the Canadian series.
A new addition for the upcoming season, Marshal Weltin will be joining the team aboard the 2020 Kawasaki KX250. With Weltin’s exceptional results through his young racing career, including a win and 4 podiums in last year’s MX TOUR series, the whole team is looking forward to an exciting and successful 2020 season.
“I’m excited for my future with the Monster Energy Alpinestars Piller’s Kawasaki team. This has been the break that I have been waiting for and I’m grateful for the opportunity. The team is giving me all the tools I need to win the championship next season, and that’s where our sights are set.” Marshal Weltin
Returning for his 2nd year with the Monster Energy Alpinestars Piller’s Kawasaki race team, 3-time Canadian MX champion Matt Goerke will continue his journey in the 450 class with the new 2020 Kawasaki KX450. Joining him in the premier class, 2-time Canadian MX champion Tyler Medaglia will also be racing the KX 450 and both riders are already looking ahead to getting back behind the gate.
“I’m super excited to start the 2020 season, my second year with Monster Energy Alpinestars Piller’s Kawasaki and Huber Motorsports.  Even with all the bad luck in 2019 we still finished the season with 4 wins, and concluded the series with a victory at the last round. Now with one year under our belt on the new bike I feel very confident we can win some Championships in 2020!” Matt Goerke
“I am very happy to be continuing my partnership with the Huber Motorsports group. I have been there from day one of their motocross effort and it feels like family at this point.  I really enjoy the work environment, it suites my personality and allows me to perform at my absolute best. Looking forward to the 2020 season, Kawasaki is making it easy on me as the KX450 has been phenomenal so far in this first month of testing. I could show up to race tomorrow and feel ready to win already. The team is growing by one this year and I believe we will have a strong presence at the front of any race we attend. A big thank you to Gerhart and Christian for believing in me and giving me this platform to perform”
Tyler Medaglia
“I’m very pleased to have a young eager rider in our paddock. And also having our 2 top Pro’s Tyler and Matt back for another year. Like our riders, we want to come out swinging for 2020, and want to start it off like we left it in Hamilton with the boys on the box!”
