Kimpex Canada Presents- Behind The Lens From the 2024 Walton TransCan

Just a month ago, the best riders from Canada and the USA gathered at Walton Raceway for the 2024 Walton TransCan. It was an unbelievable week of racing and fun, and when it was over, everyone began their journey home, already dreaming about next year. Over the years, the Walton TransCan has become more than just a motocross race. Since its inception 32 years ago, this race has become a place where riders and families travel in search of perfection. And while perfection is almost an impossible goal to achieve, along the way, we’ve witnessed so many moments where our talented riders have found excellence. That is part of what is so special about events like the TransCan. So before we get too far into September, let’s take one more look back at the 2024 Walton TransCan through the lens of James Lissimore

The Canadian flag shines bright in the Walton Raceway sun.

It was great to see Colton honoured with a Walton TransCan road sign.

There was a lot of displays at the TransCan, including these new Atlas Boots.

Barry was back again for 2024 and had the track in excellent condition.

The track building contest was a favourite again for the kids.

Dylan Wright’s biggest fan meets Taylor Swift’s biggest fan.

This is what a TransCan traffic jam looks like.

The man who kept everyone on the straight and narrow at the TransCan.

After the races the kids are always kept busy at the Walton TransCan.

It was once again great to see so much love in the Walton paddock.

This year Bingo had some International flavour.

The Husqvarna Canada Coffee Time was once again a big hit.

Katrine Ferguson had an incredible summer in the WMX Class.

KTM Canada was on hand once again to provide technical support for their Amateur riders.

Head Medic Ron Cameron spent the week taking care of all of the riders.

Brett and Melody were excellent hosts as always.

Ryder McNabb was unable to race, but he still did some filming.

The best display of the week went to OGs.

Every Moto Mom handles the stress of the their child racing differently.

As always, there was a lot to see and do at Walton Raceway.

After a tame track last year, the deep ruts were back in 2024.

The TransCan staging tent is always a cool thing to look at.

Awe yes, the most famous pit sign in motocross.

This chart certainly made it clear which practice you were in.

Tuesday’s themed track walks were a favourite among riders.

We’re still not sure how the smaller bikes handled the deep ruts this year.

Thankfully Mother Nature was a fan this year and there wasn’t a lot of bike washing needed.

During the week there were battles all over the Walton Raceway track.

Bobby Gravel had some great races in the Intermediate class.

Blake Davies was the fastest rider of the week and took home the Fox Bronze Boot Award.

Look at that dirt and look at those ruts!

The Junior Classes provided some of the best racing of the week.

Fresh off his Loretta Lynn’s Championship, Jamieson MacDonald also took home a TransCan title.

Josh Woods came up from GPF to help out with the track.

The hard working track crew had a great view for the final pro moto on Sunday.

Tanner Ward’s charity ride on Saturday was once again well attended.

Thank you to Hudson Motorcycles for their holeshot awards!

The boot that everyone wanted at the Walton TransCan.

On Saturday evening there were awards as far as the eye could see.

It was great to see Pro Rider’s like Dylan Wright and Quinn Amyotte hang around to hand out trophies.

The new Wall of Fame at Walton Raceway.
