Don't Miss

Photo Album From Gopher Dunes Presented By Canadian Kawasaki Motors Inc.

Last weekend at Gopher Dunes AMO Racing celebrated their final event of the 2022 season. It was most certainly a time to rejoice as 2022 has been another successful season for racing in Ontario. With almost all Covid-19 restrictions now lifted riders and their families were able to enjoy a busier race schedule with not just AMO but with all of the sanctioning bodies and clubs in Ontario. It was a great season and with racing on Friday and Saturday and then a season-ending banquet on Saturday evening everyone had a great time at Gopher Dunes. We were there on Friday to capture a few photos for this week’s photo album.

At least the ground is soft if you happen to crash at Gopher Dunes!

Even though it was a Friday in September the paddock was full at the final AMO event of 2022.

Friday’s races were for the kids as well as the Ladies classes.

As it always is the Gopher Dunes track was rough and challenging for everyone.

It was great to see another busy gate in the 50cc 7-8 class.

It’s always cool that the Ontario race season starts and ends at Gopher Dunes.

Even the little bikes handle the deep Gopher sand with ease. We definitely have some talented riders in Canada.

The Ladies class is now one of the fastest of the day at the AMO Racing events.

It was great to see the fine folks from Surron out at Gopher Dunes.

Dan Tricco is a Surron rep as well as one of the fastest riders in Ontario of these new E-Bikes.

Tristan Dares slides through a Gopher Dunes corner on the new Surron.

Even the rider’s meetings are serious at Surron races.

Ready, set, go!

Young Preston Masciangelo competed in the Surron race for MXP Magazine.

Tanner Scott was very fast on the Surron and went 1-1 in the two motos.

Preston not only had speed on the Surron but he also had style.

Some of the riders were going pretty fast on these cool E-Bikes.

There were even Surron girls at this race!

My camera skills weren’t the best but, in the distance, you can see TJ Scott throwing a fat whip on the final lap of moto two.
