In some news and that may or may not, make you feel old. The Beast from the East Damon Bradshaw celebrated his 50th birthday this week. Hard to believe that it’s been 33 years since he won the Toronto SX as a then 15-year-old. Happy birthday Damon!

As the FIM WSX Championships add to their list of riders who will compete this fall. This week it was announced that Chad Reed will come out of retirement to ride for the MDK Motorsports Team.

For all you cycling fans out there let’s celebrate Hugo Houle winning the 15th stage of the Tour de France this week. Hugo is only the second Canadian to win a stage and on the podium, he dedicated the win to his brother who was killed by a drunk driver while jogging in 2012.

Last weekend at Round 6 in SDL we saw multiple come-from-behind rides by at least 7 riders. All were great but we think Dylan Wright’s charge to the lead in the 2nd 450 moto was the best.

This week Eli Tomac won an ESPY Award for Best Male Athlete in an action sport so congratulations to the two-time SX Champ!

This weekend is your final chance to pre-enter for the 2022 ECAN and receive a 20% discount and free practice next week in Deschambault.

Each season the bikes of our top riders in the Triple Crown Series feature some cool parts. One of our favourites is still the oversized carbon fuel tanks on some of the 450s.

This Friday our Rider of the Week is teenage KTM rider Sebastien Racine who at SDL came within a few feet of winning his first-ever 250 Pro Class moto.
