The Friday 10 Presented By Thor MX

Let’s begin with one of the most important days of the year and that’s Mother’s Day. From all of us here at MXP Magazine Happy Mother’s Day on Sunday to all of our awesome Moto Moms!


This past week it was confirmed that Mitchell Harrison is on his way north this summer and will ride for the GASGAS Cobequid Mountain Sports Callus Race Team in the 250 class.

Although there’s been speculation that Jeffrey Herlings was headed over to the USA to race the 2022 Lucas Oil Pro MX Championships. This week he announced that sadly he will be taking the rest of the year off to heal completely from his injures.

Steve Matthes

Steve Matthes’s Yamaha Motor USA LCQ Challenge race goes off today in SLC and through his sponsors and donations the winner will receive an amazing $20K. Great job Steve!

It’s hard to believe that after four months and 16 rounds the 2022 Monster Energy Supercross Series will conclude tomorrow in SLC. So many great races and memories from this season!

Brayton 22 SX

After an amazing career that included one SX main event win in Daytona numerous SX wins Internationally, Justin Brayton will race his final SX tomorrow in SLC. Congrats on an amazing career JB10.

Congratulations to Eli Tomac, his family, and the entire Star Racing Team.

After clinching the 2022 450SX title last weekend in Denver, Eli Tomac announced that he will sit out the final round this weekend to rest his injured knee and hopefully get ready for the outdoor series.

The 2022 SX season has been a challenging one for the 450SX defending champion Cooper Webb and just yesterday he announced that he will also be sitting out the summer to heal up and recharge for 2023. Could Webb be one of the riders to line up this fall in the new FIM World SX Series.

Although these cool new bikes won’t be available in Canada until 2023 recently the Honda CRF-E2 50cc hit the dealership floors in the USA.

This weekend the AMO Racing OPC Series is headed back to Auburn Hills Raceway for the first time in over 15 years. This natural terrain track was a favourite among Ontario riders in the 1990s and early 2000s
