The Friday 10 Presents By Thor MX- April 29

Wild Rose MX Park

As we saw in Ontario and BC last weekend, the opening gate drop in Alberta takes place this weekend at the famous Wild Rose Cycle Park. This track sits a stone’s throw from downtown and is a favourite among riders.

Stewart SX 22

A couple of odd penalties were handed out Saturday evening in Foxborough. The most notable was Malcolm Stewart who was fined $1000 for peeing in the wrong spot near the starting gate.

Last week the newest member of the Electric MX motorcycle community was announced. The Flux Primo is an 85 HP E-Bike complete with a swappable battery and KYB Suspension. For more info visit www.fluxmoto.co.

Ryan Dungey

In some Lucas Oil Pro MX National news, there are rumours that Ryan Dungey could come out of retirement and race this summer. Also, Max Anstie could fill in on the Monster Energy Kawasaki Team.

maffenbeier

This past week we interviewed MX101 FXR Yamaha Racing rider Shawn Maffenbeier and Tuesday was also Maff’s 30th birthday. Welcome to the 30 club Maff!

Husqvarna 23 TC85

Last week Husqvarna released their 2023 Minicycle line-up and do they ever look stylish. Who else out there loves the grey they’re blended into graphics?

Lawrence 22 SX

Jett Lawrence not only won his first SX championship last weekend in Foxborough but as seen in AJ Cantanzaro Vlog he refused to let his mechanic start up his bike in the NE Patriots locker room. Definitely a classy move by the teenager.

In some sad news, MXGP Thomas Olson crashed heavily on Saturday in Latvia and had to be put into a medically induced coma at the hospital. There is still no word on his condition but we’ll keep you posted.

22 YZ125

For anyone out there who currently owns a 2022 YZ125 don’t forget that Yamaha Motor Canada and its dealer network sell some very cool GYTR hard parts. Just look how good this bike looks from the MXGP’s.

Anderson 22 SR450

In the USA the factory bikes are just as trick and Jason Anderson’s Monster Energy Kawasaki SR450 is a perfect example. Check out this rear linkage travel sensor that VitalMX spotted in Foxborough.
