In Episode 1 of the Grit Real Series, I got to sit down with Chris Pomeroy and his son, Ayrton Pomeroy. Chris is well known in the motocross world for his work with MXP Magazine, his racing career in the sport over the years, and the way he is supporting his son Ayrton Pomeroy to chase his own motocross dream. Ayrton has been racing since he was little and this year at Walton Transcan he was the 2024 winner of the Most Improved Rider Award.
Chris and Ayrton join me to talk about the grit it takes to navigate the highs and lows of motocross, battling through injuries, self doubt, and how their shared experience as father and son racers has been a big part of their journey.
