Unfortunately, we have bad news regarding Tyler Gibbs. While riding yesterday in the USA, he had a bad crash, which resulted in a broken collarbone. Thankfully, Tyler had no other injuries other than being sore. As you will read below, Tyler is waiting for his insurance company to get back to him to see if he can undergo surgery ASAP. He wants to return to the 2024 250SX East Series as soon as possible, but when that will be is still being determined. We wish Tyler well during his recovery.
“I was riding Supercross and had an unfortunate crash. My bike cut out while trying to jump onto a tabletop, sending me into an endo. I did a front flip straight onto my back. I was pretty beat up, and I ended up fracturing my collarbone. The plan is to get surgery ASAP so I can be back for the rest of the 250 East SX Series. I’m currently working with insurance to see if and when that can happen.”
